N0T0RI0US
I purchased a renewed drive and after doing preclear and adding it to my array all seemed fine. I had to shut down the server for a few days and when I started it back up the drive showed as Unmountable: Unsupported or no file system. I tried doing a parity check (because I have no clue what I am doing) and it found and fixed 3 errors but did not solve the issue. I then tried running a SMART extended test but it has been stuck at 10% forever. Has it gone bad? Any other test or fix options? Any help would be appreciated. darktower-syslog-20240731-1815.zip Quote Link to comment

Solution JorgeB Posted July 31 Solution Share Posted July 31 Start the array in normal mode, should be resolved. Quote Link to comment
N0T0RI0US
Thank you very much! Does this happen often? Could it still be a drive issue? Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Usually it's just a filesystem issue, happens mostly after an unclean shutdown. Quote Link to comment
