Slow first parity sync after transfering data to new build

Featured Replies

I removed some empty drives from a server that has been running for months to put in a new build. I transferred the shares over and setup containers before starting the first parity sync. The sync is now running at ~20-30MB/s rather than the 100-160MB/s I get with the same drives in the other server.

Could you point out where in the logs you are seeing this? All of a sudden the speed has picked up to normal levels without intervention.

In the syslog, could be an intermittent cables issue.
