mchristo
Hello all, little question about the parity swap procedure: My server is 2x6tb parity, 3x6tb array. One of my array drives is that's showing signs of starting to fail. Instead of replacing it with a 6tb drive (as storage is getting low), I plan to swap it with a much larger 12tb drive then after, upgrade my parity drives to support the larger array disk. If I plan to complete this, I would need to use the parity swap procedure. However, in all of the examples I've read on reddit and youtube, they all have one parity drive in their array. As I have two parity drives, can I still complete the parity swap procedure? As after the drive copy function is completed, my server will have a 6tb parity drive and a 12tb array drive which wouldn't work. Would Unraid allow me to complete the copy process, then after it's completed, let me upgrade my other parity drive to 12tb? Quote Link to comment
