FQs19
Wondering if my parity 2 drive failed or if the bugging threadripper 3960x and Asus ROG Zenith Extreme II combination failed. I'm betting it's the cpu motherboard combo. The parity 2 drive is no longer shown after stopping the array. Could anyone check my logs to see if I can just do an extended SMART check followed by a non-correcting parity check after getting the drive recognized by unRAID. Immediately before the parity 2 drive became disabled, I was transferring two files from my macbook pro to a back-up share on my arrary. System specs are in my signature. Logs attached. Array is stopped awaiting responses before I restart the system. Thanks for looking. threadripper19-diagnostics-20240801-1607.zip Edited August 2 by FQs19 added [SOLVED Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Parity2 dropped offline, this is usually a power/connection issue, but since it dropped there's no SMART, check/replace cables and post new diags. Quote Link to comment
