January 26, 201214 yr Icy Dock MB455SPF-B Sunday night, I heard a nasty buzzer coming from the server. I looked at the front, and one of the panel lights was on. The manual stated this was a high temp/fan fail light. Since the disks were not spinning, it must be a fan fail error. I shut the thing down and ordered a couple replacement fans, plus some velcro discs. Everything arrived today, so I installed the fan and put everything put back together. Looks good in the web interface, plus the disk temps are fine. Damn thing is barely a year old and the fan failed (maybe).
February 7, 201214 yr I replaced all the fans on my 2 icy docks. I removed the fans, bought some silent 80mm ones (can't remember the name now) and hot glued them on. Nice and quiet!
