August 9, 20241 yr Hello. First time poster. I've been using unRaid for years, but this is the first time I've used vlans in unRaid. I usually never post, but I just can't seem to figure this one out and hopefully someone can help me. I use opnsense as my firewall and have created vlans, "DockerClients" at 10.10.82.0 and, "UNRAID" at 10.10.80.0. The unRaid software runs on the 10.10.80.0 network and I want my dockers to run in my 10.10.82.0 network. If I run a simple docker say SpeedTest-By-OpenSpeedTest on the, "Custom: br0 -- unRaid" network it runs and the webUI will come up when I click on the docker icon, however if I try and run it on, "Custom: br0.82 -- DockerClients" network it states it's running, but the webUI won't come up. I simply cannot access the docker. See image 1.jpg. I know it's making it through my switch and opnsense cause I can see it here at 2.jpg. An image of my unRaid network is at 3.jpg and my docker settings at 4.jpg. For purposes of trying to get this working my firewall rules for unraid are let anything in and out for those two vlans. I'm not sure what else anyone needs to try and figure this out, but thank you for any help. unraid-diagnostics-20240808-2222.zip
August 9, 20241 yr Acess client also need at br0.82, if you want access from br0, you need inter routing between both vlan in your router. Edited August 9, 20241 yr by Vr2Io
August 9, 20241 yr Author Yes br0 is 10.10.80.0 and br0.82 is 10.10.82.0 in my router. For purposes of trying to get this working I've given both vlans access to everything.
August 9, 20241 yr Author Solution I solved it. I installed a Quad nic card and just run UnRaid on one address, dockers on another and VM's on another. I haven't tested the VM's yet, but the dockers run fine.
