Lochie
Hi all, I'm trying to setup a NAS for my house and was looking at using unraid. My plan is to start with 4 HDDs just as basic storage to backup my laptop and desktop. I have 2 2tb SSDs which I was thinking about using as well but I was unsure if it would work. I wanted to have the main share be all HDDs with 1 as parity and then setup a different share with the 2 SSDs in RAID 0 and use that as a storage for stuff like games where I don't really care if they data gets lost. I've installed unraid and I was looking in the GUI but I can't see an easy way to do this. Is this even possible and if so how would I do this? Quote Link to comment

Solution itimpi Posted August 9 Solution Share Posted August 9 The SSDs should be put into a pool and then you can configure a share to only use that pool. Quote Link to comment
