ttweed98
Hi everyone, I will be installing a new Broadcom 9500-16i on a Asus Z790 motherboard. I will be connection SATA drives to this. I was trying to get things ready for the install. I watched some videos on Art of Server stating that you will need to make sure the drives are in JBOD mode. I was trying to install storcli on Unraid. The file I have is an rpm file. I was following Broadcom's instructions for installing the software and it stated run "rpm -ivh {filename}.rpm". When I try this I get an error that rpm command is not found. First, is this what I should be doing? Installing storcli? Second, if so, what is the method to install storcli in the cli? I have tried to do numerous web searches and I can not find anything. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance everyone! Quote Link to comment
