Help needed with PCIe Bus Error: severity=Corrected, type=Physical Layer

Featured Replies

Hello, hopefully someone will know why my log files are filling up with:

unRAID kernel: pcieport 0000:00:1a.0: [ 0] RxErr

unRAID kernel: pcieport 0000:00:1a.0: AER: Corrected error message received from 0000:00:1a.0

unRAID kernel: pcieport 0000:00:1a.0: PCIe Bus Error: severity=Corrected, type=Physical Layer, (Receiver ID)

unRAID kernel: pcieport 0000:00:1a.0: device [8086:7ac8] error status/mask=00000001/00002000

The device listed in the log is:

[8086:7ac8] 00:1a.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation Alder Lake-S PCH PCI Express Root Port #25 (rev 11)

I have attached the diagnostics from the tools tab in unRAID.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Before I got this suggestion, I installed the plugin for the RTL8125 driver and have not had anymore error messages.  Could that possibly have fixed it or should I still try the recommendation above?

It could, if you are not seeing the error now no need to add, do it if it comes back.
