Matrix-B
Hi guys. I'm really hoping you can help as I can't work this out, and I'm a novice really to Unraid and servers so be gentle! I'm running Unraid 6.12.11 and recently had issues where the server would lock up if I was doing more than one task, for instance, if I was using SABnzbd with a file downloading, all other plugins and the UI would freeze or lose connection. I don't believe anything has changed at all that I can think of. I believe this started a couple of days ago. when I look in my terminal log I'm getting a rsyslog: cannot connect to (My IP):514 No route to host [v8.1202.0 try http://rsyslog.com/e/2027] what does this mean? I've tried rebooting my router and network and also rebooting my server. I've also tried changing the settings as discussed in the release notes with people having network issues with no result. I've attached the logs I've pulled (hoping I've done this right) matrix-diagnostics-20240815-0821.zip Edited August 15 by Matrix-B spelling Quote Link to comment

Do you get the server back after the activity finishes? Quote Link to comment

JorgeB
Try using an exclusive share for the downloads, or changing the paths from /mnt/user to a disk path. Quote Link to comment

I'm would consider myself a noob and struggle with paths, last time I tried to change a path for the downloads to go to it didn't work and error. so may have done this wrong. I'm wondering if this is an authentication issue, as I'm seeing a mdcmd (37): set md_write_method 1 and then straight after mdcmd (38): set md_write_method auto. It's also today locked up randomly without downloading, when I have the console panel open, if I leave it open, it will sometimes close itself, like its rebooting, but it's not. and when the freezing and console close happens, I can't access the server through my folder that's mapped, says not accessible or doesn't have privileges, really confusing me. That's likely the turbo write plugin, or the mover plugin. 1 hour ago, Matrix-B said: It's also today locked up randomly without downloading For that enable the syslog server and post it after a crash to see if there's anything logged. 1 hour ago, Matrix-B said: is there any info anywhere on how to do this? For those containers that can use a single pool, change the paths from /mnt/user/share_name to /mnt/pool_name/share_name Quote Link to comment
