Currently i'm running on: Dell R720XD 10 HDDs 2 SSD 120gb RAM Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 GPU Dual 10gb ethernet USB: Coral for Frigate Zigbee Hub Looking at Unraid right now: CPU : Load - 75-80% Temp: 201 °F 94C Ram Use - 50% All HDDs are 85-90 °F 29-32 C Cache - 100 °F 37.7 C Docker - 40GB out of 100GB Is expand-ability important to you? If so, what's your long term goal? Are you interested in running additional apps? I believe I have found my use case for Unraid but I would like some headroom for the future. ~ 100 containers Frigate: 5 PoE Cameras Plex: ~ 2-3 Streams Roon Server All the ARRs + some Multiple databases Nextcloud, photoprism, vaultwarden, etc.. many accessible 24/7 NO Game Servers What is your budget? Even if you don't have a strict budget set out, at least give us an idea if you are pinching pennies or splurging on your build. Ideally < 1500$ How many drives do you want your server to be able to support and how much capacity do you need? What do you plan to run for hard drives? 16-20 I have been getting a 14TB every once in a while. Currently running: Seagate Exos X16 14TB 7200 RPM Enterprise Hard Drive Do you have any spare parts laying around that you would like to apply towards your build? This includes drives. I could use parts from my current pc or I could get new.
