Boot Failure: bzfirmware checksum error every few weeks.

Featured Replies

Hey,

Every few weeks now I get the "bzfirmware checksum error" on startup. Just today, I had to replace one of my container and restarted my pc and got the above. I've been getting it quite often now. I have my old  system logs if need be but it doesn't show the checksum error. Any idea as to why? My pc is quite old (8gb ram a 5 or 6th gen i5 with iGPU). I have a lexar USB with 64gb on there. Its just quite annoying to always worry whether or not I have to go and replace all the bz* files on my usb every time.

I would start by replacing the flash drive.

Hello,

Have you been able to find the root cause of your issue?

I'm having the same problem. I think the key was not the issue because it was working for more than 3 years with the old, but still I replaced the key and I'm still experiencing the same issue every month, maybe.

Thanks for your help.

Try using a different USB port.
