January 29, 201214 yr Hello, This is probably a silly question but during parity-sync should the dot be orange? I have just booted my unRAID server up for the first time, and it contains two new 2TB HDD's and I have read some review that say it can be a fault with the HDD. Please can someone confirm or deny. Many Thanks

January 29, 201214 yr Author Wow, thank you for a speedy reply. Thank you I was starting to get read to start stripping out the HDD to try with another.
January 29, 201214 yr Author One more quick question does orange out of party-sync mean busy disk, aka disk in use??
January 30, 201214 yr One more quick question does orange out of party-sync mean busy disk, aka disk in use?? No, it indicates parity is not valid, nothing more. (and, likely you are in the middle of an initial parity calculation, so all the disks would be busy being read, and the parity disk being written.)
