Drives not showing

Featured Replies

I recently moved my Unraid setup to a new case and added two new drives: a 12TB and a 14TB. The 14TB drive is recognized without any issues, but my existing two 10TB drives and the new 12TB drive are not showing up at all. The drives are connected via an LSI HBA card, but I also tried connecting them directly to the motherboard with no success.

To troubleshoot, I connected the drives to a hard drive dock on my Windows PC, and they were detected (though not readable due to the XFS format). I’ve updated the BIOS, swapped the SATA power and data cables between working and non-working drives, and tried each connection one at a time, but nothing seems to resolve the issue.

I’ve exhausted all the troubleshooting steps I can think of, so I’m attaching my diagnostics. If anyone has insights into why these drives aren't being recognized, I’d greatly appreciate your help!

Make sure it's not the 3.3v SATA issue, Google that or try with a molex to SATA adapter.
