Mellanox cards not showing up in network settings

Featured Replies

Hi !
I installed an Infinity band mellanox card, it shows up in the system device, drivers are fine but the card won't show up in the network settings.
The same happens with another mellanox connect-x2 card.
Do you have any idea of how I can make it work ?
I tried reseting the network config and all but no success.
Also, the first time I installed the connect-x2 card it showed up but ports wouldn't go up.

That's not supported, only Ethernet mode, some can be converted.

Only one is being detect by Linux, and it's Infiniband:

0000:17:00.0 InfiniBand [0c06]: Mellanox Technologies MT25408A0-FCC-GI ConnectX, Dual Port 20Gb/s InfiniBand / 10GigE Adapter IC with PCIe 2.0 x8 5.0GT/s In... (rev b0)

If you have another one try using the same slot where this one is connected.
