Pandemic
I removed my cache drive and added a new one. Since then I noticed a new share "ab_20240823_073553" has shown up. It seems to be todays date? Does anyone know where that came from and what it's doing? Quote Link to comment
trurl
Any folder at the top level of array or pools is automatically a user share. Possibly some docker is configured to write a folder to /mnt/cache or /mnt/user instead of to some existing user share. Or maybe that folder already existed on the new drive. Did you let Unraid format it? Quote Link to comment
Kilrah
That's the naming from the appdata backup plugin, looks like you've set the backup destination wrong and it's /mnt/user directly instead of a share. 1 Quote Link to comment
Pandemic
Sorry, what should the destination be? I have it set to mnt/disk7 but maybe i should choose cache? Quote Link to comment
Kilrah
Using a disk is fine but you should not select the root but a folder within it, e.g. /mnt/disk7/backups. Best is to create a "backups" share, set that to go to the disk you want, and then use /mnt/user/backups. Edited August 28 by Kilrah Quote Link to comment
