Movie file locked after playing.

Featured Replies

i connect to my NAS via the Amazon media player and I find that when I finish playing the movie and then try to delete or move it via Explorer from my laptop, it says that the file is in use.

If I then stop the array and immediately bring it back online, I can delete the file in question.

Does anyone know why the system will be locking the file?

Thank you.

Seems more likely that the media player is not closing the file.

That is something I can test.  Thank you for the reply.
