Unraid Reboots on VM shutdown with Intel DG2 pass through

Featured Replies

I've got a Windows 11 VM running with an Intel Arc A750 passed through. It has been running perfectly fine for a month.

This morning I decided to pass through the sound card from the Intel Arc (Intel DG2). The sound card passes through correctly and I have no issues using it in Windows at all. However everytime I shutdown the VM, the unraid host reboots itself once the VM shuts down. Unraid doesn't become unresponsive then crash, it just immediately reboots like the kernel has completely crashed.

Is this a side affect of unraid not natively supporting Arc in 6.12?

Here are the diagnostics from after the reboot.

I'm running unraid on an AORUS ELITE Z790 AX with an Intel i9-13900K. I have got my integrated GPU port plugged into the HDMI port on my monitor for doing bios updates etc and then the Arc's DP Port is plugged in to the same monitor for when I use the VM.

Did you manage to resolve this? I have the same issue with Intel Arc Pro A40 and Unraid 7.01.
