I'm not going to have the time to delve into my own diagnostics data, which I'll definitely get around to when I get some, but lately I have been finding that my server just gives up after a certain period of time. I cannot press and hold down its power button to switch it off and must resort to unplugging it and plugging it back in.

@JorgeB I will have this eyeballing the appdata share of my server. Everything else is simply file storage and what the apps write to.

And where is the persistent syslog?

A shucks, I thought I added that, turns out it was just another way to send my diagnostics. Will have to be another week then because I never chose the Mirror to flash option and instead Copy to flash on shutdown (which didn't technically happen in this case).

Unfortunately there's nothing relevant logged, this can be a hardware issue, one thing you can try is to boot the server in safe mode with all docker containers/VMs disabled, let it run as a basic NAS for a few days, if it still crashes it's likely a hardware problem, if it doesn't start turning on the other services one by one.

Alrighty, I do vaguely remember when hooking into my server with my monitor as it was in this kind of purgatory state to discover it was warning me about something. I think I did a memtest which told me all was good in memory, so I will have to find the time and report back what I found when it happens again. Was kind of hoping I could resolve it early in my flux of daily life. I did also notice that the colors of my CPU cooler weren't in this state. Thanks so much so much so far!
