August 27, 20241 yr Version 7.0.0-beta.2 2024-07-12 I'm not going to have the time to delve into my own diagnostics data, which I'll definitely get around to when I get some, but lately I have been finding that my server just gives up after a certain period of time. I cannot press and hold down its power button to switch it off and must resort to unplugging it and plugging it back in. home-space-diagnostics-20240827-1805.zip
August 28, 20241 yr Author @JorgeB I will have this eyeballing the appdata share of my server. Everything else is simply file storage and what the apps write to.
September 1, 20241 yr Author The time has come, will attach new diagnostics with it as well. home-space-diagnostics-20240827-1805.zip home-space-diagnostics-20240524-1023.zip home-space-diagnostics-20240901-1536.zip
September 1, 20241 yr Author A shucks, I thought I added that, turns out it was just another way to send my diagnostics. Will have to be another week then because I never chose the Mirror to flash option and instead Copy to flash on shutdown (which didn't technically happen in this case).
September 5, 20241 yr Author Ok, now hopefully THIS is what was all that was requested. So sorry about prolonging this, I guess it is apt for someone of my forum rank. syslog syslog-previous home-space-diagnostics-20240905-0003.zip
September 5, 20241 yr Community Expert Unfortunately there's nothing relevant logged, this can be a hardware issue, one thing you can try is to boot the server in safe mode with all docker containers/VMs disabled, let it run as a basic NAS for a few days, if it still crashes it's likely a hardware problem, if it doesn't start turning on the other services one by one.
September 5, 20241 yr Author Alrighty, I do vaguely remember when hooking into my server with my monitor as it was in this kind of purgatory state to discover it was warning me about something. I think I did a memtest which told me all was good in memory, so I will have to find the time and report back what I found when it happens again. Was kind of hoping I could resolve it early in my flux of daily life. I did also notice that the colors of my CPU cooler weren't in this state. Thanks so much so much so far!
