Hi there,

 

I have been running unraid for maybe 3-4 months now and have it running all virtualized and has been working fine.

 

Today was a powercut, (I have a UPS but since adding a few new hard drives or it getting old it hasnt been working correctly and need a new one) now when i start unraid all the drives are showing as unassigned.

 

Not sure how to go about getting the array back.

Have read that just putting them back in right order and clicking start will make it work but I have no idea what order they were in and there is 11 drives or so in the array so not really an option.

 

Running: unRAID OS version 5.0-beta13

 

Have attached the syslog.

 

Any advice or help would be grateful for.

    The order of the data drives is not important. The trick is to determine which drive is parity. Assign all drives as data drives. One of the drives will appear as unformatted. DO NOT format any drives. The drive that appears as unformatted is the parity drive. Assign the parity drive correctly and all of the other drives as data drives.
