How to use nomachine with linux vm?

Featured Replies

Title. I can't figure this out. I finally got my VM working but the only way i've been able to access it is the vnc viewer in unraid. I came across a dozen posts suggesting nomachine is the way to go but i can't find a guide or anything on how to actually use it. I have installed nomachine in my linux mint vm, the server status says it is running and presents an ip. I plug this ip in on my windows laptop client and it won't connect. I tried plugging in my unraid server ip and no difference. This is all on local LAN.

In windows:

Looks like your VM is using a private IP firewalled behind the Unraid IP. You need to change the network for the VM template so it gets an IP from your router instead.
