Newbie: Docker Service Failed to Start after one cache drive failed

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I am a total newbie and just setup an Unraid server for storage and Plex about a month ago. I have two storage hard drives and a parity hard drive as well as two cache drives. I checked the UI daily and saw that one of the cache drives stopped showing its temperature. Besides that, things ran quite well for a week or two, but when I restarted the server after installing some more fans, I had an error message that the cache drive that didn't show its temp failed.

This is when things went south since I probably didn't follow proper protocol to change the cache drive for a new one. I just plugged a new one in, assigned it and started the array. Since then, the docker service cannot be started anymore, and I cannot copy files to the server either.

As I mentioned, I am a total newbie, and would really appreciate step by step help if possible. I am okay with setting things up again as long as I can keep my data array somehow intact so that I don't have to recopy the files.

Thank you so much for your help!

Pool fs is corrupt and going read-only, suggest you backup what you can and then re-format.
