Interface Ethernet Port 0 is down. Check cable! error

Featured Replies

I have a TerraMaster F4-423 I have the error "Interface Ethernet Port 0 is down. Check cable!" on the network settings page.

What I have tried:

-Switching to the other port (same error but Port 1)

-Pinged the IP through terminal and I had a response back

-Turned off bonding in the network settings

-Lots of reboots

-Static and automatic IPs

-reformatting the USB drive and creating another Unraid instance on it

No change.

I cannot start the array, I am assuming this is because I do not have a registration key, I cannot get a key likely because there is no connection.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know what the difference is, but I logged in from a different computer on the network, and although I still have the error the registration window opened and I was able to install the key.  I did not get this on the desktop.  I was able to start the array.

@gixxerfool BTW:   The diagnostics should be a single zip file.   I suspect you have your system set to automatically open such a zip which is why you saw lots of files.  Please upload just the zip instead as it much easier to work with.

I do.  Apologies.  I will fix it first chance I get.

@itimpi Went ahead and fixed the attachments
