September 3, 20241 yr Hi,  I am Thomas and new here. I am freshly retired and and my first project is to build a server. After some research I am now here 😊. From my son I got AMD 9 9950X Processor he didn’t need (he is afraid that I get bored) . So I am now looking for a mainboard.  I need 10 HDD SATA 128GB RAM 2.5 Gbit Ethernet (min 1 better 2-3) 2 NVME SSD  Do you have an recommendation for a reliable not so expensive motherboard and the SATA Adapter I probably need ?  Thanks a lot Thomas Edited September 3, 20241 yr by Dr.Tom Forgot 1 word
