How to Enable /dev/uhid Module on Unraid?

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I’m currently using Unraid 7.0.0-beta.2 and facing an issue where the /dev/uhid device node is missing from my system, which is preventing access to related functionalities. Here are the steps I’ve tried and the problems I encountered:

    •    I ran lsmod | grep uhid but didn’t find the uhid module.
    •    Attempted to load the module using sudo modprobe uhid, but received the following error:

modprobe: FATAL: Module uhid not found in directory /lib/modules/6.8.12-Unraid

I have tried looking for relevant plugins and updating the system, but so far nothing has worked. From my research, it seems like I might need to recompile the kernel to include UHID support, but this is beyond my current expertise.

That module is likely not included, suggest making a feature request and mention why you want that included.
