unassigned device is resolved looks like its based off the usb port i used last time - still unable to get internet access / with static IP - currently onboard nic to get my updates

It sounds like it worked before you set it to static IP.  If that is the case, are you able to revert it to DHCP and then assign your preferred .113 address from the router/dhcp server?

I can but i have network mapped by ip for whatever reason windows refuses to map by host name x,x

Im thinking more along the line of DHCP host assign Mac address 12:34:56:78:90:ab (unraid Mac) to receive ip 192.168.1.113

What device is your DHCP coming from?  Maybe I'm thinking the wrong thing.

Open up the GUI terminal  (The image.png.5dfd0af977120e0a6da8e87083d60919.png icon on the top right of the GUI.)

Then type the following command:

ping 8.8.8.8

Use Crtl-C to stop it.

If that is successful, try this command:

ping cnn.com

Post up your results...

Okay so this all started because It was in bridge mode but unplugged the onboard, and was good. server went down for a bit and when it came backup onboard didnt give ip to other on main 10 gig nic. so i flipped it the 10 gig nic to eth0 in unraid. the issue i think is the dhcp reservation that was set for 192.168.1.13 was the onboard nic.

still makes no sense. not bonded but my non mobo eth0 wont connect without the mainbiard pkugged in. i can unplug after then im good, reboot have to have mb eth1 in
