ConflictMeow Posted September 11, 2024 Posted September 11, 2024 Hey everyone, I'm running into a bit of an issue with my Unraid setup, and I could really use some help! Here’s the situation: I have a Dell PowerEdge R630 with an HBA330 Mini Mono PCI card flashed into IT mode. The system is equipped with 5 x 4TB SSDs (3.5" drives) and 1 x 1TB SAS HDD. The HBA330 is set to Non-RAID mode for all drives in the BIOS/Controller settings. When I boot into Unraid, only the 1TB SAS drive is being detected. None of the 4TB SSDs show up in Unraid at all, and I can't figure out why. I've tried the following so far: Verified that the HBA330 Mini Mono is in IT Mode (flashed it myself) Checked the BIOS/Controller settings to ensure all drives are set to Non-RAID Ensured all drives are seated properly in the bays Swapped drive bays to rule out physical connection issues The drives themselves are good because I tested them on another machine, and they are detected just fine. Any ideas on what could be causing Unraid to not see the SSDs, even though the 1TB SAS drive is working perfectly? Is there some specific configuration I might be missing on either the HBA or in Unraid? Maybe a compatibility issue with the SSDs or the controller? Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Quote
