Kernel i/o errors on flash drive

Featured Replies

For past few days I have noticed that time to time I am getting kernel io errors on flash drive.
Example error: Sep 12 08:08:10 unraid kernel: I/O error, dev sda, sector 778968 op 0x0:(READ) flags 0x80700 phys_seg 4 prio class 2
I think in past 60min I have had like 10-20 errors like that, all for same drive which is flash drive.

Flash drive model: Sandisk Extreme Go 128GB (bought like 6 months ago)
Drive is plugged in usb2 port.

I think two unraid versions ago I had error about flash drive corruption, but I would say overall everything is working fine, only yesterday had issue that system hanged while server was turning on.

Could it be that flash drive is already failing?
