September 13, 20241 yr Hello, my parity disk is a 4TB 7200 RPM drive. It was recognized and running correctly up until yesterday. My unraid system became unresponsive around 2 am. I restarted it by pulling the power, draining the power and then starting the system up again. Then it became unresponsive again shortly after. I repeated the above power cycling process and the system came up but my parity drive became unassigned and shows that it only has ~4GB of free space. The "Fix Common Problems" plugin noted that I have hardware errors and "The output of mcelog has been logged." Any assistance or advice is appreciated. tower-diagnostics-20240913-1047.zip
September 13, 20241 yr Community Expert That disk is not giving a valid SMART report, so it may have failed, try swapping/replacing cables to rule that out and post new diags.
