Unraid just locking up intermittently - General protection faults in syslog

Featured Replies

Hello Unraid swarm,

i need a bit of help here.
Since roughly 2 months my trusted Unraid server intermittently just locks up.
Webgui unreachable, SSH unreachable, obviously all Dockers/services unreachable and no display out to my piKVM anymore.
Only a hard reboot helps to revive it in these situations.

Pulled diagnostic data after it happened the second or third time and got rid of some old plugins and usued dockers after that. All seemed well until it just happened again.
In syslog i find a ton of general protection faults but i can´t make out what the root cause would be.
Attached both Diagnostics here. The old one and the recent one from today.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Don't see any in either of the diags posted, but they are both after reboots, enable the syslog server and post that after a crash.

Already had that running. Must´ve mixed them up in my tabbed Editor.
Syslog now attached as well.

Sigh. I should really double check. Sorry for the incovenience.
Here´s the correct one:

Difficult to say if all the call traces are hardware or software related, one thing you can try is to boot the server in safe mode with all docker containers/VMs disabled, let it run as a basic NAS for a few days, if it still crashes it's likely a hardware problem, if it doesn't start turning on the other services one by one.
