September 15, 20241 yr I'm building a ITX NAS, and I'm reusing an i712700f I have laying around so I'm not able to use the pcie slot for a normal HBA because I'll be using an arc 380 in the slot, so I was just wondering if this part will work with unraid, and if I'll have any compatibility issues my full build list here https://pcpartpicker.com/list/bMjWVW (the HDDs are just a place holder not actually spending that much on 12tb)
September 16, 20241 yr It should *work* but since it has a SATA port multiplier it's not recommended.
May 19, 20251 yr Hi, I'm using one of these in an M.2 slot on a minisforum ITX board, and can confirm that for me it works fine. same board and adaptor that Jeff used on Craft Computing for his 45 drive upgrade.
