2am Boogy Man

Featured Replies

So if I am watching a movie using plex, every morning at exactly 2 am, plex stops and I have to log in a start it again. Is there a way to tell what's happening at 2am that causes this? There is nothing in the logs that I can see. Kinda funny but annoying. Thx

appdata backup plugin for example?

from what I can tell, it's set to back up weekly and no specific time is set. This happens every morning at 2.

Time to check custom scripts or every container where scheduled tasks could be set.

BTW if no time is set in appdata backup it won't be doing anything, check you actually have backups.

@Windlasher

You are likely to get more informed feedback if you attach your system's diagnostics zip file to your next post in this thread.
It is always a good idea to do this to allow us to see the current state of your system and so we can see logs.

What time is Plex's scheduled maintenance set to kick off?

Essentially just a big ole file server so not a lot of custom scripts. The only thing on it at the moment is plex. Appdate backup didn't have a time but I added one (thx) where would custom scripts be located?

I didnt know it had scheduled maint. Nothing in the editor specifies this. appdate backup is the only scheduled event.
