Added two drives to a cache before formatting, now I can't figure out how to format

Featured Replies

I added two SSDs I pulled from other systems, but didn't format first. Now I can't seem to format them.

I tried to remove them from the cache pool, but it won't let me lower the device count from 3, so I can't start the array.

What do you mean? They are already formatted and part of that pool, or do you wan to removed them from the pool?

I do want them to be part of that pool, I guess I was confused because they are listed without filesystem or space info like my other drives.

The stats are for the pool, post the diagnostics to see the current profile, but by default, it's raid1.

Got it, thank you!
