Download speeds slow after a few hours.

Featured Replies

I've been chasing this issue for a while. For some reason my download speeds always seem to slow down after a few hours. If I play around / re-establish or change my network settings I can get my full download and upload bandwidth (900Mpbs/150Mbps). However after a few hours it slows down to 70Mpbs/150Mbps. Last time I aggregated a couple ports hoping it would help. It worked for a bit till I rebooted, it's a bit better (100Mbos/150Mbps) but not near where it should be. I've replaced my cat5e cables, tried diffrent ports, rebooted my switch (Cisco SRW2048), and my internal Lan speed tests using OpenSpeedTest reach 900Mbps/900Mbps, so I don't think it's a hardware issue.

Edit: My bandwidth test on the router (RT-AX86U Pro) before the switch check out (950Mbps/160Mbps)
