Unable to access server whatsoever using nginx proxy manager

Featured Replies

So I've been having issues reaching my server outside of VPN for a while now. I want to access my nextcloud and I want others to be able to access my nextcloud without having to VPN in, so I opted to use this video and follow along: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SsUbUNTweGU&t=794s

Obviously if I put the server in DMZ on my router everything's accessible but nobody wants that.

I got nginx and cloudflare running however my nextcloud docker is still unreachable even though my nginx/cloudflare address is pointing to port 444 on local network where nextcloud is located.

I've port forwarded 18443 (internal) to 443 (external) and did the same for 1880 to 80. It's not working whatsoever. At some point I started randomly typing in ports and if I forwarded 443-18443 to 443 and 80-1880 to 80 suddenly the addresses I assigned in nginx to dockers would open unraid web ui but wouldn't open anything else. I've tried removing and recreating port forwarding rules on my router but to no avail, now I can't even get it to reach unraid web gui again.

Here https://imgur.com/a/PxU0qKJ are the port forwarded rules and my docker containers. I'm lost on what to do, anyone have any idea?

Also to clarify, when putting the server in DMZ in router, when typing in any of the webaddresses associated with nginx in which I specifically specified which ports to connect, it always brings me to unraid webGUI instead of the container
