Llessur Posted September 20, 2024 Posted September 20, 2024 I'm currently on unRaid 6.12.10. I'm waiting a month before installing 6.12.13 (almost there). However, on Wednesday, I tried replacing a 4TB drive with a 22TB drive. I formatted it using XFS, and it completed successfully. However, now the array is showing that drive as "Unmountable wrong or no file system." I've run the diagnostics (attached) and have the array started in Maintenance mode. I saw where a previous forum post talked about running the command xfs_repair -v /dev/mdXX, but that returned the error "fatal error -- couldn't initialize XFS library." I'm hoping someone here can help. aTdHvAaNnKcSe (That's thanks in advance.) loki-diagnostics-20240920-0802.zip Quote

JorgeB Posted September 20, 2024 Posted September 20, 2024 It no longer shows the partition error, but no xfs filesystem is being detected, post the output from: xfs_repair -v /dev/md10p1 Quote
Llessur Posted September 20, 2024 Author Posted September 20, 2024 Phase 1 - find and verify superblock... bad primary superblock - bad magic number !!! attempting to find secondary superblock... ................................................................................................................................................. And then continues to fill the screen with dots. Is this what you wanted? Quote
Llessur Posted September 20, 2024 Author Posted September 20, 2024 I've solved the problem. I had to stop the array as this drive's file system was set to auto. I changed it to xfs, started the array, and saw the format button lower on the Main tab screen. I formatted, and all is good. Thanks for your help. Quote
JorgeB Posted September 21, 2024 Posted September 21, 2024 Formatting resolves the unmountbale issue, but I understood the disk had already been formatted xfs before, still, if there wasn't any data there that will do it. Quote
