Hello,

I want to change one disk. But I can't do it. I deleted old disk from computer and set new disk. But Unraid remembered old disk. I try to change old disk to new disk, but button "Start" is disabled. After reboot I have no any my changes. My new disk is not formated.

 

tools, new config, apply

The following will work:

• unassign disk1
• start array to make Unraid ‘forget’ current assignment to disk1
• stop array
• assign new disk to disk1.  make sure set to desired file system
• start array.
• format new disk1 to create empty file system ready to receive files.

 

going via the New Config tool is an alternative way of achieving the same end result.
