LinuxMCE on VirtualBox on Unraid

Featured Replies

working with a new experiment.  I have had great success running virtual box on unraid 4.7.  AMD X3 with 8GB ram.  I just ran across the MCELinux.  Couple of neat features - ability for clients network boot from the core server - no os to maintain on clients, as well as all the home automation features that it has.

Anyhow, I have it installing on Virtual box - the OS is installed the LinuxMCE software is now installing.  One of the requirements is dual NIC.  One is for the outside network and one if for the inside (Media Center Network)

Questions:

1)  If I plug a USB Audio and a TV Tuner device into the server box, can I pass it to the VM?

2)  I know that 4.7 only supports a single NIC (Unraid is presented on the first NIC)  However, if I add a second one in the box, will I be able to map it to a VM?

3)  Anyone sucessfully running this?
