Randomly Crashing

Featured Replies

Everything was running smoothly for quite a while, and then suddenly my server started crashing out of the blue. I’m currently on version 6.12.11. I’ve attached my system log—please let me know if there’s anything else I can provide to help troubleshoot.

Probably unrelated, but looks like you have an issue with Samba config, post the full diagnostics

That is not the full diagnostics zip file!

Correct file should be uploaded now.

Remove this line from the extra Smaba settings, and check that the other ones there are still needed:

server multi channel support = yes

Is that a troubleshooting recommendation for sampson or is multi-channel generally not recommended? I've got it enabled on 4 systems right now and so far no issues. I've yet to get to benchmarking though.

That setting should be enabled using the GUI, not SMB extras.

I'll give it a shot. Thanks.
