Everytime I restart the System I have go back into the BIOS and reselect my Kingston USB drive save and restart again. That happens every system reboot.

In addition I have 3 expansion cards attached to the motherboard. When I connect hard drives to then and restart the system and go into the unRaid UI I cannot select any harddrive that is attached there. The 3 expansion cards just expand the number of hard drives I can connect to the motherboard. They have SATA and IDE connectors.

Common issue with some Asus boards...

Set the flash drive to Force FDD in the bios

Change the boot sequence to USB first

Remove the other boot options.

How do I set the flash drive to Force FDD? (My USB stick is 8 GB in size).

I did change the boot sequence to USB first and removed all other boot options but still had no effect.

I don't remember the exact bios menu...but believe it is under USB configuration, you will want to change the emulation type to Forced-FDD
