Why can I not get Connect to work

Featured Replies

I have the Connect plugin installed.

I enabled UPnP. I then select the UPnP option under Connect. Whne I apply it, it logs me out and it says disabled until I log in.

So, I login and the top section shows UPnP enabled. But "Remote Access" is off. I turn it on and select UPnP click apply and it again say disabled until I log on. It is a never ending cycle. So far my testing of unraid has been a failure.

Is it something I'm doing wrong or is it the app.

What version of Unraid are you using?

I'm running 7.0.0beta2 on 4 machines with completely different hardware/specs. I can select and apply any/every option in Connect without issue. UPnP is also able to verify that it's working when pressing "Check"

If I were installing Unraid for the first time, I'd jump right onto version 7. Each of the 4 systems I'm running are production. One of them being my edge router, running pfSense handling the internet connection (+ DHCP, DNS, DNSBL, Firewall, VPN, etc.) for the entire home. Another is my home automation system, running Home Assistant and supporting over 100 devices in the house.

Upgraded to 7.0. It leaves me logged in but it still will not connect. I am not selecting any of the port forwarding options. I must not be setting it up right. But making progress, it dont sign me out.

Does your router support UpNP?   If not then I think you have to set up port forwarding manually in the router.

And if so, is it enabled or disabled?

Mine does the same thing even with port forwarding. Also when I try to set up MFA I hit the link it lasts about a second and it automatically goes to the previous page.
