[solved] Moving data from one drive to another

Featured Replies

If I have data on lets says disk2 and I want it to be moved to disk1. Is there an easy way to do this besides copying and pasting in windows directory structure.

Is there a command line?

I would use rsync from the command line.

is that something that I need to install or does it come with the OS?

What I want to do is take everything that is on disk2 and move it to disk1 in this folder \\tower\disk1\Video\Other\TV Series\

I would use rsync from the command line.

I would probably recommend you type

mc

and use midnight commander.
