<SOLVED> 'unRAID SMU' requiring authentication eight times before login

Featured Replies

One of my home page tabs is to launch http://tower:8080/myMain in addition to Google. However, I have to click "OK" eight times to be able to access the mymain page in unMENU [see below picture]. Is there a way to view the page without this?

Yes.

Log in via the normal unRAID web-management console and give the password.    Once logged on, you'll not be prompted again for that browser session.

Thanks, tried that and it only required auth a single time. Do you happen to WHY the multiple logins was required? I noticed if I didn't hit OK for all of them that some of the images would be broken...

the images are loaded through emhttp and if you have a password set this will happen.  No real way around it... unless you install the image server package in unMenu.

I'll give that package a shot since I like looking directly at myMain for a quick overview.

And that is exactly why the "image server" package was developed (installed from in unMENU's package manager).  It then serves up the images without any need for a password.
