how do you install Wake On Lan app since the plugin has been removed

Featured Replies

i used to use the eitherwake cli to wake up unraid servers to rsync  but then unraid said the wol plug has been depreciated and needed to be removed...  and since i removed it  i found i can no longer user etherwake    i tried googling how you install it  or

apt install wakeonlan

but it wouldnt work

how do i install the wakeonlan  command line  or etherwake command line program

or does unraid have a build in  cli  that does etherwake already in the OS

@SimonF  thank you i followed the last third post and that fixed it i didnt need the wol  plugin  just the etherwake

and the unraid docs dont have that they talk about installing MiniWOL v.2   on linux   but they dont talk about how to install it on unraid

it should be installed by default..  when you install unraid...

thank you
