Consistent release cycle?

Featured Replies

It would be great to see more regular Unraid OS releases. As a current user of Unraid OS 7 and a newer customer, the lack of regular releases is not ideal. While Unraid OS 6 receives numerous minor releases, Unraid OS 7 is not getting the same level of attention.

I agree with you, there should be a release schedule.

Unraid should be updated on monthly base in my opinion.

It is still Beta, then it will be RC for a while, then it will be released. once released you could expect a more regular update schedule.

While the unraid core itself is private, the web-ui portion is public on github, and you can see they are constantly working on it with the current version being beta4.9, Beta5 (or whatever it may be called, rc or otherwise) is seemingly very close if we look at how the previous versions of the beta were released, but it will only be released when it is absolutely ready.

LimeTech did say quite clearly a while back that they wanted a more regular and rapid release cycle a while ago to go along with the new pricing structure and expanded team and U7 should be the start of that once it is released stable.
