From which Unraid version will it work?

Does it need a fw. upgrade?

Which cables for SATA disks are needed? Where to get them? I live in Holland.

Does not work with unRaid 4.x, does work with unRaid 5.x (some betas do have issues with the LSI cards)

I'm using unRaid 5b11 since it works well for me with both M1015 & MV8 cards.

Not sure on the cables, you might want to double check since there are forward & backward cables.

I'm using Norco 4224 so mine are mini-sas to mini-sas

 

Might want to check the 5b14 thread. I had problems with 5b14 but don't recall now if it was the M1015 (LSI) card or the MV8 card that had issues.

 

yes, stay with the b11 or 12a if you use spin down.

OK, generalz. Do you use one yourself? I need to flash it first I guess?

do not use LSI based cards on beta13 or 14. on spinup they tend to red ball.

I hope the M1015 will be fully supported in the final release of 5.0.
