October 6, 20241 yr I am flying dark on the temperature for some time would really wish to get this fixed. I read some guide that potentially will read the temperature however it'll break the nvidia driver which I would need the GPU passthru. Any other possibility/guide/steps that we can get the AM5 temp reading in Unraid? I am on the latest Unraid 6.12.13, with Ryzen 9900x on MSI X670E Carbon motherboard. Any guidance would be much appreciated, thanks

October 6, 20241 yr Author if i ran sensors command these are all I got: root@Tower:~# sensors i350bb-pci-1100 Adapter: PCI adapter loc1: +59.0°C (high = +120.0°C, crit = +110.0°C) nvme-pci-0200 Adapter: PCI adapter Composite: +33.9°C (low = -20.1°C, high = +83.8°C) (crit = +88.8°C) Sensor 2: +52.9°C amdgpu-pci-1600 Adapter: PCI adapter vddgfx: 815.00 mV vddnb: 1.19 V edge: +44.0°C PPT: 7.00 mW k10temp-pci-00c3 Adapter: PCI adapter temp1: +0.0°C (high = +70.0°C) root@Tower:~# If i run the tree /sys/class/hwmon/hwmon3 here what I got root@Tower:~# tree /sys/class/hwmon/hwmon3 /sys/class/hwmon/hwmon3 ├── device -> ../../../0000:16:00.0 ├── freq1_input ├── freq1_label ├── in0_input ├── in0_label ├── in1_input ├── in1_label ├── name ├── power │ ├── autosuspend_delay_ms │ ├── control │ ├── runtime_active_time │ ├── runtime_status │ └── runtime_suspended_time ├── power1_average ├── power1_label ├── subsystem -> ../../../../../../class/hwmon ├── temp1_input ├── temp1_label └── uevent 4 directories, 17 files

October 7, 20241 yr If k10temp were load and got the temperature, then manual create /boot/config/plugins/dynamix.system.temp/drivers.conf will fix temperature not showing in dashboard issue.

Not sure what i am running into

November 29, 20241 yr Author anyone had the same issue of the AMD chipset not showing up the temperature in Unraid? I'd really appreciate if there's some guidance whether this is even a possibility? many thanks
November 30, 20241 yr Author super happy to report that now the temperature reading is working, after I installed ich777 repository plugin of Nuvoton NCT6687 Driver.... just thought of sharing it here
