When would Unraid kernel supports the AMD AM5 temperature probe

Featured Replies

I am flying dark on the temperature for some time would really wish to get this fixed. I read some guide that potentially will read the temperature however it'll break the nvidia driver which I would need the GPU passthru.

Any other possibility/guide/steps that we can get the AM5 temp reading in Unraid? I am on the latest Unraid 6.12.13, with Ryzen 9900x on MSI X670E Carbon motherboard.

Any guidance would be much appreciated, thanks

If you run sensors on the cmd line does it report temps.

Do you have the k10temp module loaded?

What does show.

tree /sys/class/hwmon/hwmon3

if i ran sensors command these are all I got:

root@Tower:~# sensors

k10temp-pci-00c3

I would say its loaded. I think you may need kernel 6.2 for that cpu 6.1 is in Unraid 6.12

If k10temp were load and got the temperature, then manual create /boot/config/plugins/dynamix.system.temp/drivers.conf will fix temperature not showing in dashboard issue.

anyone had the same issue of the AMD chipset not showing up the temperature in Unraid? I'd really appreciate if there's some guidance whether this is even a possibility?

many thanks
