Hi,

 

I'm pretty close to buying a unRAID key, the only thing holding me back is support for my Areca 1230, 12 port PCI express comtroller in JBOD mode.

 

Are there support for Areca PCI express controllers in the software?

    Why don't you test it?

     

    Drop the free version on a USB stick, put one drive on the controller and see if shows up in the selectable disks.

    I did a while ago with no luck. I currently don't have a free USB stick to try it with.

     

    As Areca cards seems to be quite popular I guessed someone could give me a quick answer.
