February 17, 201214 yr Has anyone ever used NFS on unRAID in conjunction with a Dune player? I have followed the instructions in the FAQ for setting up an NFS share. Really just inserting *(rw) on the NFS line. I followed some instructions I found for the Dune on setting up an NFS share. They have you find the NFS share name via SMB, map a folder, then change the mapping settings from SMB to NFS, and change the server name to the IP address for the server, and optionally change UDP to TCP (which I did). All that is done, but it still doesn't connect. I'm not sure which end has the problem. Any help is appreciated.
February 18, 201214 yr Author have you tried *(rw,insecure)? Yes just last night as it was suggested in the Dune Forum, and no luck. Thanks though.
February 19, 201214 yr I use this *(rw) with my Dune and that's all I use is NFS. I just make a shortcut right on the Dune homepage to my main server share so I can quickly access it when I turn it on.
