CookieMonsterFL
Afternoon, I've just got power back from Milton, and the server though on a backup battery had an unexpected shutdown. After checking webGUI for any issues, I went to connect via SMB and was unable to do so. \\Tower, \\Tower.local, and \\IP.address all failed. Pings are successful; server responds quickly each time I try (plus access to webGUI). All docker clients are working fine, no issues. Plex and other apps are able to access the array/data/etc. Server is set for basic static IP, done server-side and allocated static address on the router-side. The server is not appearing as a connected device on the router. Switching the server to automatically grab an address is successful, I see it and can access the server from the new assigned DHCP, but SMB shares are still inaccessible. I have checked threads concerning SMB shares and adjusting Windows registry, but that didn't work. I have swapped network cables, reset my router config, and deleted network config from Unraid USB stick - re-applying my custom settings, nothing works. Everything was working fine before - I had another unexpected shutdown from Hurricane Helene a couple weeks ago that appeared to corrupt Plex's db file that I had to rebuild, but besides that the server was fine. Now the only thing 'wrong' seemingly now is no access to the files on the server and the server itself not appearing on the network but still ping-able and accessible. I've attached diagnostics file for better diagnosis. I am not an IT expert; just smart enough to be stupid and dangerous with this stuff. Thanks for any assistance and am happy to answer all questions. cookieserver-diagnostics-20241012-1732.zip Quote Link to comment
